German Association for Aging Research (DGfA)
Welcome!
The DGfA was founded in February 1990. The association is committed to strengthen
basic aging research in Germany. The DGfA also pursues to bring together basic
scientists and clinicians working on aging research. An understanding of the
biological causes of aging could ultimately help to develop new diagnostic
tools and molecular therapies aiming to improve organismal fitness and to
elongate the health span of aging humans.
